WINE @ AtGender

Representatives from WINE met on 22 April 2016, at Utrecht University, during ATGENDER Spring Conference, 21-23 April 2016.

Several projects were presented by delegates from:

Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Zentrum für transdisziplinäre Geschlechterstudien (ZtG), Genderbibliothek

Göteborg University, Swedish Secretariat for Gender Research

KvinnSam – National resource library for gender studies, Gothenburg University Library

Atria, Institute on Gender Equality and Women’s History

Amazone, Crossroads gender equality.

From the presentations delivered, we learned about projects in current development as well as about recent accomplishments, such as:

WINE_Pauline_MailMETA-project from the IDA-Dachverband, the new online catalogue of the German language Women’s, Lesbian and Gender libraries and archives (i.d.a.- network).

Amazone’s recognition as the Belgian National Focal Point for equal opportunities, and its projects on Emancipation barometer and Gender and public space and Gender and mobility

Atria’s digitalization of grass roots publications from the Dutch second feminist wave (available for consultation on site) and exhibition of unique material from 19th century Dutch women writers from the Atria collections (follow-up to a travelling exhibition on Dutch women authors from the nineteenth century  ‘Because I had something to say’ in the National Library and the Museum of Dutch Literature).

ATGENDER’s Spring Conference 2017 will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania.

This confeWINE_Inge_Mailrence will be co-organised by ATGENDER and EIGE, the European Institute for Gender Equality. WINE members are affiliate with both institutions and will thus work towards being present at the conference with both a network meeting and other occasions of visibility. We hope interested professional in the field will join us there!
